"A comedy with serious moments that invites us all to reflect on family, memory, love." Pumphouse Players is excited to host a staged reading of WAKE ME WHEN IT'S OVER by Nedra Pezold Roberts as part of our Local Playwright Series!
When three grown sisters come together to bury their mother, they spend three nights in their New Orleans childhood home. As they reminisce, they discover their memories about their mother are all very different. Soon, the probing of memories turns into the revelation of present needs, and the women wake up to new knowledge about themselves and each other.
The staged reading is directed by Mallory Holder, and will be followed by a talkback led by Charlie Monroe. Audience members have the option to provide feedback and ask questions about the play. It's a way for our audience to be a part of making new art happen!
Join us November 16th at 8pm to be among the first to hear this new show. Tickets are by pay-what-you-like donation, and you can make your donation in advance at http://bit.ly/2VqVqN.
